Seeing a need for energetic support of the benefits of shale energy, we formed this worldwide initiative to provide a sensible networking solution around the concept of a "World Shale Energy Day." This is "ONE DAY FOR SHALE ENERGY." We've consistently grown our supporter base of progressive energy industry leaders since then, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing professional community!

o to promote science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) learning and education
o to recognize the valuable role of women and minorities in shale energy
o to encourage that shale energy be used for atmospheric carbon reduction
o to encourage that shale energy be used for energy source reliability and resiliency
o to celebrate the positive impact that shale energy has had on the economy, culture and society
o to support United Nations Sustainability goals around the world.
